The following labs provide the opportunities to increase your grade.

Population Growth - measure lemna minor (duckweed) and see how fast it grows!

Copper Extraction Lab - chemistry experiment which simulates how copper is taken from malachite ore

Biodiversity - you get to go outside and measure the population of various plants and animals!

Water Quality - you get to go outside and measure water quality next to Doyle Elementary

Pesticides - 'make your own' lab where you use mealworms to determine the effects of minor chemical treatment

Forestry Value - head outside and determine the value or our trees on campus

Air Pollution - outside lab where you get to measure pollution in the air using techniques from the EPA

Soil Pollution - measure soil type and the chemicals that can pollute the soil around you

Tragedy of the Commons - eat as many goldfish crackers as you can!

Debate on whether or not we should drill for oil in Alaska (ANWR)

Soil Analysis - create your own business and figure out what you can build based on the soil types
